We recently had the pleasure of having the Honorable Mr. Eric Hargan, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and the Honorable Mr. Lance Robertson, Assistant Secretary for Aging, tour our soon-to-open main headquarters. Additionally, they had the opportunity to speak with our President and CEO, Rafael Iglesias, and many of our senior center participants to understand the needs of our community and the clients we serve.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH October 2018
We are pleased to announce that our Employee of the Month for October 2018 is Mariana Canalizo. Mariana is one of our Claims Specialists. Her job consists of processing the claims submitted to us by outside vendors of the long-term care program.
If the volume of claims was not a demanding enough task to handle on a daily basis, dealing with our vendors is a task on its own and Mariana excels at balancing both with grace. She is detail oriented and takes great care in ensuring that she completes her tasks efficiently and to the satisfaction of both LHANC and our providers.
Mariana is always polite and very sweet when dealing with our vendors and staff alike. She is an exemplary employee. We are proud to have her on our team.
Thank you Mariana for everything you do!
