Health Services
LHANC provides several essential
health services to seniors in the community who are eligible for services
through the Older Americans Act.. These services include:
Pro-Salud Primary Health
Care -- Established in 1992, this center provides services offered by a
physician, a physician assistant and several other health care professionals
to provide primary medical care to seniors in need. In addition to basic
medical care, services include: health screenings, physical exams,
immunizations, EKGs, Pap smears, x-rays, various therapy services, and
referrals to specialists.
Mobile Medical Unit (MediVan)
-- The MediVan, which has operated since 1993, is staffed with a
physician assistant and provides primary health care services to all of
LHANC's meal sites, serving about 5,000 seniors every year.
