The person selected for this position must have the personality and ability to provide leadership and constancy for program continuity. This person must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships with students, staff, and families
- Supervise teaching staff to ensure the smooth coordination of all classroom activities and staff/student interrelationships
- Identifying and problem-solving in the classroom
- Head Start experience, highly preferred
- Making sure center meets or exceeds all licensing requirements and standards
- Must be a team player who is able to manage at least 15+ employees
- Experience with Creative Curriculum
- Organizing staff and parent meetings and events
- Ordering school equipment and materials
- Organizing staff and parent meetings and events
Minimum qualifications:
- Must possess HS diploma
- DCF 45 hour child cares certification
- FCCPC certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must have experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or paragraph here.
